Youth Education

Youth in grades 6-12 meet Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:15 for devotions, a discipleship-based lesson, fellowship, and recreation. Our small youth group is energetic and enthusiastic in their quest for spiritual growth and authentic service. We participate in the annual CROP Walk and the multi-church Stop Hunger Now events as they are available We raise money by raking leaves and mowing lawns that help us fund our Angel Tree gift purchases each Christmas. We also attend district and local retreats when COVID restrictions allow. We have fun, too! Monthly recreational outings to mini-golf, bowling, and day hikes are our current favorites.

Due to COVID-related challenges, our performances of skits with uplifting, humorous discipleship messages have been limited to Zoom skits and a short online video about God’s enduring Christmas story that inspires even in the midst of a stressful pandemic. We look forward to presenting live performances when safety protocols allow-hopefully by the fall of 2022. Come join us!!
